The following terms and conditions apply to your use of the Universe of Skills online program, which is available at www.universeofskills.com. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Universe of Skills (Philippe Vergeylen). The terms “site” and “website” refer to Universeofskills.com. The terms “user”, “you” and “your” refer to site visitors, customers, members and other users of the site.
The Universe of Skills program has its own Terms of Use. These Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Universe of Skills in connection with your authority to use the Universe of Skills program available to you through a valid Membership. It is important that you take the time to read them carefully.

These terms and conditions were last updated on 1 May 2022 and supersedes all prior terms for universeofskills.com. If we need to update these terms for any legal or regulatory reasons, or if we change the nature of the services offered, the most recent version will be posted here and each registered user will be notified by email.
2. Privacy
By accepting these Terms and Conditions you fully consent to the use and processing by us and our nominated third parties of your personal data as described in the Privacy Statement. Please read our Privacy Statement, which is part of these Terms and Conditions, for more details.
3. Registration
Some pages/videos on universeofskills.com are free to view, but accessing the Universe of Skills videos requires you to create a Universe of Skills account by registering and pay for your membership. In some cases, free access may be granted. In this case, these General Terms and Conditions are also binding.
Your Universe of Skills account is non-transferable and you may not allow your Universe of Skills account to be used by any other person.
Universe of Skills reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse any application to enroll or renew a registration. Universe of Skills also reserves the right to suspend or cancel any person’s membership at any time and without notice if it is determined that such person’s use of the Universe of Skills Account has violated these Terms Conditions.
4. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the discretion of your account and password and for securing your computer and smartphone against unauthorized use in order to prevent access to your account.
You may not transfer your account to anyone else.
You must take all necessary steps to ensure that your password remains confidential and secure and you undertake to inform Universe of Skills immediately if your password has become known to anyone else, or if your password is used, or is likely to be used on an unauthorized way to access your account and programs.
5. Your Safety and Disclaimer
Use of the Universe of Skills website is entirely at your own risk.
The information on this Website is provided by Universe of Skills and while we strive to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the Websites for any purpose. Any reliance you place on this information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
The information is made available for the purpose of gathering ideas for workouts and classes, playing various sports and participating in various physical activities. You should not participate in any physical activity without consulting a doctor beforehand.
Any specific activities, exercises, products or procedures that may be discussed on the Websites are for informational purposes only. You rely on the website information shared by Universe of Skills, its sponsors and advertisers, or other visitors at your own risk.
Furthermore, Universe of Skills makes no representations about the security or suitability of the information on the Websites, nor about the results to be achieved by using the program on the Websites and Universe of Skills can therefore not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury resulting from the use of any product, information, idea, or instruction presented on the Websites.
Every effort is made to keep the website running smoothly. However, Universe of Skills is not responsible, and will not be liable, if the Websites are temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
6. Membership, Payment Plan, Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation
To use the Universe of Skills online service you must have internet access, a personal Universe of Skills account and a Membership with active Payment Plan via an accepted payment method.
6.1. Membership
- Free Drills. You may be able to access freely available tutorial videos, Free Videos. Access to these Free Videos does not mean that you have a Membership.
- Different Memberships: Universe of Skills may offer different types of membership plans at any time, including special promotional plans or plans with different terms and conditions and restrictions. All terms of membership to the program are incorporated into that program’s Terms of Use. The Terms of Use of the program will be clearly communicated to you during registration on the Websites or through other communications. To access the program on our Website, you must agree to the Terms of Use of the specific program to activate your Membership.
Some promotional memberships may be offered by third parties in conjunction with their own products and services. We are not responsible for the products and services of these third parties. We reserve the right to change, discontinue or otherwise modify any of the memberships we offer.
6.2. Payment Plans
- Payment methods. We will inform you of any applicable fees and when which fees will be charged prior to commencement of your Program Membership. By providing your payment details, you agree that you are liable for the payment of such fees. You expressly authorize Universe of Skills (or third parties acting on behalf of Universe of Skills) to charge all costs and charges associated with your membership, including VAT if applicable, and including transaction costs.
You can pay via the online payment methods available on the Websites. The online payments for your membership are made via Stripe and Paypal (https://www.stripe.com, https://www.paypal.com), the payment partner of Universe of Skills. All payments and card details are processed via a secure connection to Stripe/Paypal and are encrypted at all times. Your credit / debit card details will not be passed on to Universe of Skills nor to a 3rd party.
If a payment cannot be charged because, for example, it has expired or the balance is too low, and you do not update your Payment Method or cancel your account (see “Cancellation” below), you will remain uncollected owe us and you authorize us to continue billing the Payment Method even after it has been updated. This may lead to a change in the billing date for your payments. In certain cases, Stripe/Paypal may charge exchange rates or other costs. - Payment plan: The applicable payment plan for the program and associated membership fees are detailed on the program webpage.
The prices displayed before you click ‘Pay Now’ are the amounts charged to your payment method. These prices include all taxes, commissions, costs and VAT. We reserve the right to change the pricing for our services or parts thereof in any way and at any time, as we determine in our sole and absolute discretion. Any price changes to your Payment Plan will become effective within 30 days of notification to you by email.
Please check carefully the specific Payment Plan offered for a specific program on our Websites before activating your membership and associated Payment Plan. A payment plan can consist of a Single Payment, Periodic Payment or a combination of both.
- Single Payment: The program offers a single payment for your membership. This is a one-time payment on the day corresponding to the start of your membership, followed by a well-defined access period or continuous access to the program until cancellation of the program.
- Periodically Recurring Payments: With a Recurring Payment, we periodically offer a payment to your payment method from the start date of recurring payments stated in your Payment Plan. Recurring payments are only offered on an annual basis. When you start your Membership with Recurring Payments, you give us permission to have your membership costs paid at the then current rate via your Stripe/Paypal Payment Method, including other costs incurred by you in connection with your use of the Universe of Skills service. You acknowledge that the billed periodic amount may vary from period to period for various reasons, such as different amounts due to promotional offers, including redemption of gift cards and promotional codes, and/or a changed or added subscription. You give us the mandate to charge such varying amounts, which are invoiced periodically in one, via your Stripe/Paypal Payment Method.
Your membership is not automatically renewed after the termination of the current membership. You must renew your memebership in “My account” and pay for the new year of membership.
6.3. No refunds. Payments cannot be refunded. Therefore, we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used periods, unwatched videos or digital materials that have not been downloaded. However, upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current billing period.
6.4. Right to withdraw You give explicit permission for your membership to take effect immediately when you activate your membership during registration. A confirmation email about your purchase will be sent to your provided email address. You agree that your right of withdrawal will be lost after sending the confirmation email, except as provided under the statutory provisions of the right of withdrawal.
However, this does not affect your right to cancel your recurring recurring membership at any time, unless otherwise stated in your program’s Terms of Use. of the right of withdrawal.
As a customer within the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from a purchase of a service that is sold at a distance (right of withdrawal). The time limit for withdrawal depends on the jurisdiction of the EU. In Belgium this is within 14 days from the day the product is delivered. If you wish to waive your purchase under the right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing using the Universe of Skills Withdrawal Form. Send us this completed and signed document by email (info@universeofskills.com).
6.5. Termination. Once the anual membership term ends, you will no longer be granted access to your Universe of Skills program. In this case, you will need to renew your membership to regain access to your program. If you wish to renew, please go to the “My Memberships” section on our website after logging in and click on “Renew” to cancel your membership. If you don’t renew your membership, your access to the Universe of Skills program will be closed at the end of your current billing period.
7. Universe of Skills Program Service with Membership
7.1. Access to this website for children under the age of 16. If you are under the age of sixteen, you may only use the service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You must ask your parent or legal guardian for permission to:
- Send an E-mail to the website, or ask Universe of Skills to mail something for you
- send you any information regarding universe of Skills, your registration for a Universe of Skills account or Universe of Skills Program Membership
- participate in any game, competition or promotion that requires information about you or offers you a prize, or
- buy something online or pay for something.
By continuing to use this website, you confirm that you have the consent of your parent or guardian
7.2. We continuously update our Universe of Skills programs, including the content in the library. The platform contains training material videos and info, etc. As a member of the program you get access to the program page.
7.3. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and absolute discretion, to change the way we operate and offer our Service from time to time. We have the right to suspend and/or support our Service (including any program or part of the program offered by us) temporarily or permanently, without notice to you. When our Service is no longer continued, your license to use the Service and your membership will be automatically suspended or terminated. In the event that we cease to provide our Service, we shall under no circumstances be obligated to provide you with any refunds or damages as a result of your inability to access or use our Service. We will stop billing the recurring membership fee for your Payment Method when the program is no longer available online.
7.4. You can only access your program if you have internet access and are logged in with your Universe of Skills account through the Website. The playback quality of the videos and the download speed of the digital content may vary from computer to computer and device to device, and may be affected by a variety of factors, such as your location, available bandwidth and/or speed of your internet connection. All videos of the Universe of Skills program are embedded on the Website. You are responsible for all Internet access charges. Ask your internet provider for more information about possible costs for using internet data. Universe of Skills does not represent or warrant anything about the quality of your on-screen viewing experience.
7.5. Customer support. To find out more about our services and how our programs work or if you need help with your account, you may find it helpful to visit the Universe of Skills website or contact us by email info@universeofskills.com . In some cases, we may refer you to our webmaster to assist you in the best possible way.
8. Code of Conduct
You may not use the Website in any way that causes or threatens to cause the Website and or access to it to be restricted, damaged or impaired in any way. You understand that you are solely responsible for all electronic communications and for the content you send to us and that you are only using the Website for lawful purposes.
You may not use the Website for any of the following:
8.1. For fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offense or other harmful or illegal activity.
8.2. To distribute or use any material that is illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or threatening or in violation of copyright, trademark, trust, privacy or any other right or otherwise harms a third party or is objectionable or that contains software viruses. , Trojan horses, data scraping, keystroke logger, spyware, political campaigns, commercial solicitations, chain letters, mass mailings or “spam” reused or contained.
8.3. To cause annoyance, inconvenience or unnecessary distress.
8.4. To obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not made available or provided through the website for that purpose.
9. Ownership, Copyrights and Database Rights
You understand and acknowledge that the Universe of Skills program available to you was developed or acquired by Universe of Skills through the investment of significant time, effort and expense, and that the programs are valuable, special and unique property of Universe of Skills, which give Universe of Skills a significant competitive advantage, which must be protected against unauthorized use.
You acknowledge that Universe of Skills remains the full and sole owner of the intellectual property rights. A membership to a program in no way entails that you can assert any ownership rights to the concept. The provision of the online Service by Universe of Skills does not imply any transfer of intellectual property rights.
Pending your entry into a Universe of Skills program, either free or on a pay-as-you-go basis, you agree to the following:
9.1. All copyrights, trademarks, rights in databases and other intellectual property rights granted from time to time in all text, copy, source code, graphics, sound, software, data compilations, service marks, logos, the Universe of Skills name, between you and Universe of Skills, owned by Universe of Skills, its affiliates or reproduced on the site with permission from the relevant rightful owner.
9.2. The content of the Websites may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form without the prior written consent of Universe of Skills, except as noted below. You may read, view, if directed download the Content for private and personal non-commercial use provided that all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices stored in or about the Content are preserved, but you may not make more than one copy maintain the Content electronically or otherwise and you may not redistribute, sell, publish or transmit any Content, or any part of it, by electronic or other means.
9.3. You may not systematically extract and/or reuse portions of the Website Content without express written permission from Universe of Skills. In particular, you may not use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (1 time or several times) significant portions of these Websites for reuse, without express written permission from Universe of Skills. You also may not create and/or publish your own database that uses important parts of this website without the express written permission of Universe of Skills.
9.4. You agree not to sell, resell, provide or otherwise to any third party the content, extracts or other information available to you in any program in any way or through any other medium without Universe of Skills’ prior written consent.
9.5. You will not attempt to register the content of the Websites, alone or as part of your own service marks, trademarks or trade names, in Europe or with any other governmental agency anywhere in the world. Unless expressly authorized by Universe of Skills, you may not use the name, logo, content or similar content as or as part of any trademark, service mark, trade name, fictitious name, company name or company name or Internet domain name anywhere in the world. In connection with your use of the Content, you shall in no way represent that you have any proprietary rights in the Content, and you acknowledge that all use of the Content of the Programs by you is for the benefit of Universe of Skills.
9.6. No License Right. A membership to a Universe of Skills program does not entitle you to offer classes, training, camps or education under the Universe of Skills name and brand.
9.7. Universe of Skills program is an online support program designed to support you in completing practical lessons for children. You agree not to use the Service for any public display or training of coaches, trainers, teachers or facilitators.
9.8. You will immediately notify Universe of Skills if you become aware of any unauthorized discoursen or use of the program.
Upon termination of your Universe of Skills program, your membership will automatically close at the end of the current billing period and access to the program will no longer be granted. All rights granted to you to use the Content will revert in full to Universe of Skills.
